Intimate Mount Rainier Cabin Elopement Wedding | Seattle Wedding Photographer
David and Jessie met at a mountaineers course and fell in love through their shared loved of climbing, mountains, and nature. When they decided to tie the knot they thought what better thing to do than elope in the mountains. They chose a quaint little cabin just outside of Mount Rainier in Mineral Washington. Jessie’s brother walked her down the isle and David’s sister officiated while his best friend stood in for best man. There was so much love and I am so grateful I got to be the one to document this special day for them. After the ceremony they celebrated with the most amazing champagne pop and toasts. We then headed up to the mountain hoping to take in spectacular mountain views. When we arrived at the top thick fog covered the base of the mountain. Most people get a bit disappointed when there is no visibility but all I saw was magic. The fog brings such a mysterious moody feel to the photos and I love it so much. It was chilly so we only stayed for a short bit before coming back down the mountain and finishing up at Alder lake. The lake was absolutely stunning and covered with old tree stumps and we arrived just in time to catch a beautiful sunset. It was the most perfect day of love.
