Stacy + Roger | San Juan Island Adventure Engagement | Bellingham Wedding Photographer

Stacy and Roger planned an intimate wedding on San Juan Island so we felt it was only appropriate to do an epic engagement session out there too. To get out there you have to take a relaxing two hour ferry ride to Friday Harbor which is one of my favorite things to do in the PNW. We went out to Cattle Point Lighthouse to start our session and we danced around and soaked in all of the sights from the amazing views. On a clear day you can see Mount Baker and the Olympics in the distance and if you get super lucky you may spot a pod of whales! Although we didn’t spot any whales we did see about a dozen bald eagles hanging out at the bottom of the cliffs. Next we ventured over to the Lime Kiln Lighthouse which overlooks Dead Man’s Bay and the views were equally as stellar. If you have never been to the San Juan Islands definitely add it to your list of places to visit.
