Whispers of Love in the Pacific Breeze: Lincoln City Elopement Photographer
Abby and Darren embarked on a coastal love story, choosing the scenic charm of Lincoln City, Oregon, to exchange their vows on a clear and beautiful day. This adventurous couple, traveling all the way from Utah, found an intimate nook across from the beach to say their "I do's" surrounded by their immediate family.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, we ventured to capture the wild and free essence of Abby and Darren against the stunning backdrop of the Oregon coast. Frolicking in the sand and climbing cliffs, their love story unfolded in every footstep, creating perfect moments frozen in time.
As the day unfolded, we returned to the beach house, where Abby and Darren sealed their union by cutting the cutest little cake and celebrating with pink champagne. A magical ending to a truly special elopement.
For those considering Lincoln City, Oregon, as a wedding destination, let me share the reasons it's a great choice. The town boasts a charming sea wall in its downtown, allowing you to park and witness the crashing waves right in front of you. Additionally, a secret overlook in town offers a cliffside vantage point to immerse yourself in the magical surroundings. Lincoln City, known as the "whale-watching capital of the coast," may even treat you to whale sightings from March to December.
With an abundance of beautiful coastline to explore, Lincoln City provides a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding adventure.
Devil’s Punch Bowl-A hollowed rock formation created by a cave collapsing inside. A popular whale watching and picnic spot as well. There is also a beach you can walk down to as well which is one of my favorites to walk along and watch the surfers catch waves.
Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area-A cliff rimmed beach with a creek that spills into the ocean. A great place to explore the coves and tide pools.
Boiler Bay Scenic Viewpoint-A great place to get a panoramic view of the ocean and whale watch so bring your binoculars!
Cape Foulweather- “Where Oregon began” was the first spotted piece of land by Captain Cook and named after the rough ocean waters and weather conditions. Rising at a staggering 500 feet above the pacific ocean, Cape Foulweather is the perfect spot to whale watch, spot bald eagles, and take in one of the most incredible views on the central Oregon coast.
Yaquina Head Lighthouse-Oregon’s tallest lighthouse standing at 93 feet tall. With it’s beacon light it guides ships along the pacific since it was first lit in 1873. Below the lighthouse is a cobble beach that produces the sound of an applause as the waves crash into the shore and the tide returns to the ocean. Such a serene place to sit and listen to all the sounds of the sea and also look at tidepools.
As an elopement photographer on the Oregon Coast, I am immersed in the breathtaking beauty of nature's coastal wonders. Each wave crashing against the rugged cliffs, every grain of sand underfoot, and the dance of sunlight on the vast Pacific canvas becomes a part of the visual symphony I aim to capture. It's not just about freezing moments in time; it's about telling the intimate love stories that unfold against this enchanting backdrop. From the towering sea stacks to the serene coastal towns, every corner of the Oregon Coast offers a unique and picturesque setting for couples seeking a wedding day that mirrors the untamed beauty of their love. My lens becomes a storyteller, translating the magic of the coast into visual poetry, ensuring that the memories created here will be cherished as timeless treasures.
