Alex+John | Spring Creek Homestead Wedding | Yakima Wedding Photographer

Alex & John had a beautiful summer wedding at the Spring Creek Homestead in Yakima Washington. Known for it’s vineyards and apple orchards, Yakima is the perfect setting for a wedding with wide open views. This venue has beautiful open grounds with a rustic house filled with charm to get ready and stay at. Alex decorated the venue so elegantly with cream and greens tones.

Alex and John had a traditional mexican wedding. One of my favorite parts was the money dance. This is where male guests paid to briefly dance with the bride and pin the bills to her veil. They also did the “snake dance” where the bride and groom stand on chairs across from one another and all the women hold hands and run through and then all the male guests run through linked together and try to overthrow the groom. The guests really enjoyed a floral wall Alex put together to take photos in front of, it was a great little touch.

I wish Alex and John a lifetime of happiness and adventure! I’m so glad I got to tell the story of their special day.
